Job Summary:

The Refugee Cash Assistance Program Coordinator will provide critical support to refugees and other eligible individuals, ensuring they receive the necessary resources to achieve self-sufficiency. This role will involve coordinating intake processes, verifying immigration status, and assigning cases to caseworkers. The Coordinator will also ensure program compliance and coordinate closely with external partners to provide unduplicated services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate intake processes with refugees, asylees, parolees, and other ORR-eligible populations
  • Verify immigration status and confirm eligibility for RCA benefits
  • Assign cases to caseworkers and supervise their work
  • Ensure program compliance and coordinate closely with external partners
  • Monitor client participation in employment services and English language training
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field
  • 2 years of relevant professional experience in human services
  • Strong relationship building and diplomacy skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills
