Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Mexico, MO. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional services to students in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges.
  • Provide direct therapy to students, both individually and in group settings, to promote effective communication and language skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure student success and provide a supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records and documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Missouri SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in a school setting is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
