Responsibilities

• Screening patients and developing initial and interim treatment plans
• Performing evaluations and documenting progress toward identified objectives
• Overseeing Clinical Fellowship Year Clinicians (SLP-CFYs) and developing new programs/techniques to enhance speech therapy services
• Conducting patient and family education and delivering quality speech therapy services

Requirements

• State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Professional or student experience in Speech Language Pathology
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology exam administered by Educational Testing Service (ETS)
• Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a program accredited by The Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA)
• Eligibility to complete a post-graduate clinical fellowship (CFY)
• State licensure or provisional permit eligibility to practice as an SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) and Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
