About the Role:

As an Electrical Chief Estimator, you will be responsible for developing accurate and timely electrical construction estimates for our client-base of General Contractors, Owners, Developers, and end-users. You will analyze and interpret detailed drawings and specifications, determine and price value-engineered alternatives to plans and specifications, and perform budget pricing from schematic drawings and narrative.

Responsibilities:

Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Develop accurate and timely electrical construction estimates
Analyze and interpret detailed drawings and specifications
Determine and price value-engineered alternatives to plans and specifications
Perform budget pricing from schematic drawings and narrative
Draft scope letters, proposals, and vendor solicitations

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Working knowledge of Accubid Anywhere utilizing Live Count estimating software

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent project management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in deadline-driven environment
Professional written and verbal communication skills to deliver presentations with confidence
Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office suite of applications
Supervisory experience desired, able to delegate, coordinate work of others, monitor performance, and deliver feedback
