We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Residency Program Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the transition of new graduate nurses from students to professional nurses.

Program Overview:

  • Our 12-month comprehensive transition-to-practice program is designed to equip new graduate nurses with the knowledge, skills, and behaviors necessary to excel in their role.
  • The program combines precepted orientation with blended learning experiences, allowing participants to develop clinical judgment, communication skills, and peer support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide education and support to new graduate nurses throughout the residency program.
  • Collaborate with preceptors and nurse educators to develop and implement curriculum.
  • Assist with program evaluation and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a nursing program.
  • Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse.
  • BLS certification required.
