About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team in Manteca, California. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring patients during dialysis treatment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a difference in the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessing patient needs, administering medications, and performing various medical procedures.
- Monitor patients during dialysis treatment, including tracking vital signs, observing patient behavior, and responding to any adverse reactions.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning equipment, disposing of biohazardous waste, and restocking supplies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, doctors, and social workers, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in dialysis.
- Current certification as a Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) or Certified Nephrology Technologist (CNT).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A competitive salary range of $23.00 - $31.00 per hour.
