About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Avionics team at Array Labs, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing cutting-edge avionics electronics for our distributed radar imaging constellation.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop system-level and module-level avionics electronics for our satellite constellation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including flight software, GNC, mechanical, and spacecraft operations, to ensure seamless integration and validation of avionics systems
  • Develop circuit designs and simulations to analyze system performance and optimize electronics for orbital environments
  • Create spacecraft hardware requirements, specifications, and test procedures to ensure high-quality and reliable systems
  • Support flight software bring-up and validation by developing and implementing hardware test plans
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in electronics design, fabrication, and test
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Learns new concepts rapidly and has high levels of self-motivation and personal accountability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under significant time constraints
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in electronics design for mission-critical or space-flight applications
  • 2+ years of experience designing avionics or flight-control systems
  • 2+ years of experience working in fast-paced/startup environments
  • Experience in the design, integration, and test of avionics and flight-control systems
  • Experience designing spacecraft electronics
  • Strong understanding of computers and programming languages
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly cross-functional role
  • Experience working in a lab and using laboratory test equipment
ITAR Requirements

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
