Job Title:

Summer 2025 Research Internship

Job Summary:

In this role, you will work alongside experienced chemists to develop new silicone formulations for aerospace applications. You will learn the fundamentals of laboratory scale formulation science and design experiments to test the properties of new materials.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and test silicone formulations in a laboratory setting
  • Design and conduct experiments to develop new materials
  • Analyze data and present results to the aerospace technology team
  • Maintain and update the chemical inventory system
Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • Good laboratory skills and knowledge of safe laboratory practices
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
Program Requirements:
  • Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application
  • Must be available to work in person 40 hours a week for 10-12 weeks between May and August
