Job Title:

Summer 2025 Research Internship

Job Summary:

This internship provides an opportunity to work in a laboratory setting, developing new materials for aerospace and electronic applications. The successful candidate will assist in formulating and testing silicone materials, gaining hands-on experience in safe laboratory practices and equipment operation.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare silicone formulations for aerospace and electronic applications
  • Learn the basics of safe laboratory scale formulation science and equipment operation
  • Design and conduct formulation experiments with guidance from a project mentor
  • Analyze data and present results to the aerospace technology team
  • Maintain and update the chemical inventory system
Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field
  • Good laboratory skills for accurate weighing, pipetting, etc.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
