The role of the Technology Project Analyst is pivotal in facilitating the successful execution of technology initiatives by meticulously gathering and documenting project requirements, crafting and overseeing project timelines, and engaging in change management practices to foster the acceptance and integration of new technologies at Atlantic Diving Supply, Inc.

This position will report directly to the IT Delivery Manager and will be involved in projects related to all current and prospective business applications within the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess robust analytical and communication capabilities, alongside practical IT and project management experience. The Technology Project Analyst will collaborate with personnel across various levels within Atlantic Diving Supply, Inc.'s sales and operations sectors, as well as with customers and suppliers, and the technical teams responsible for maintaining the company's systems, including Oracle and Microsoft Exchange.

Additionally, this role will actively contribute to data governance initiatives and process enhancement projects throughout the organization. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for securing cooperation from diverse stakeholders. The candidate must demonstrate exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough reviews, analyses, and evaluations of business systems and user requirements.
2. Support application development activities, including coding, testing, debugging, and implementation to bolster the organization's application systems.
3. Consult with users to ascertain current operational procedures and clarify program objectives.
4. Develop comprehensive documentation outlining program development, logic, coding, and modifications.
5. Formulate project scopes, perform alternative analyses, conduct market research for technology solutions, and assess vendor proposals.

6. Oversee user acceptance testing by coordinating with users from impacted areas, developing and documenting test cases, and recording test outcomes and recommendations.

7. Provide input for training initiatives and collaborate closely with the Instructional Design Manager to ensure that training resources are current and accessible for all employees.

8. Actively engage in deployment planning, release management, and change management activities.
9. Participate in data quality and improvement initiatives across the organization.
10. Assist in disseminating IT department updates, long-term strategies, guidelines, principles, and standards to project team members.


Technical/Business Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; concentration in IT or business preferred
- Relevant experience: 3-5 years, with a minimum of 2 years in managing IT projects
- Must obtain Administrator certification within one year of employment
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer-service oriented, with the ability to manage multiple small tasks simultaneously
- Highly self-motivated and committed to excellence
- Understanding of the significance of data quality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel capabilities
- Experience with relevant technologies preferred
