We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Global Patient Travel Coordinator to join our team at Medpace. As a key member of our Patient Travel Services team, you will be responsible for coordinating travel logistics for patients participating in clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities- Main Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, clinic nurses, and internal stakeholders to receive and fulfill travel and payment requests.
- Study Setup: Collaborate with clients and trial managers to create guidelines and parameters for each new study, including setting up processes in our portal, finance, and generating materials from existing templates.
- Logistics Coordination: Liaise with patients, clinic nurses, and external vendors to coordinate logistics and translation needs, ensuring seamless travel arrangements.
- Financial Management: Track spending and prepare monthly usage financial reporting to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses.
- Communication: Maintain effective and efficient communication with patients, clinic nurses, and internal stakeholders to ensure a positive experience for patients.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a patient-facing role, preferably in a clinical research or healthcare setting.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of global travel logistics, infrastructure, and cost drivers, as well as experience working with patients and clinic nurses.
- Language: Spanish speaking is a bonus, but not essential.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
