Medical Service Professional

As a key member of our team at the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, the successful candidate will provide medical services to patients in a correctional setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care services in accordance with established medical protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct medical assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
- Document patient information and treatment plans in accordance with established medical records policies.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Ohio.
- Experience in a correctional setting or related field.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate with healthcare team members and develop patient care plans.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Working Conditions
