Job Description

We are seeking an experienced International Trade Compliance Official to manage our export compliance program, ensure all applicable registrations, licenses, exemptions/exceptions, and execute export licenses as needed.

About the Position

As an International Trade Compliance Official at Tactical Air Support, you will have the opportunity to work with our Logistics and Tactical Air Logistics Network-Parts (TALON) personnel to assist in inventory management, record-keeping, and conducting Order of Reviews. You will also engage across all business units/subsidiaries to conduct international trade compliance functions, ensuring federal and international regulations are met.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage and execute Trade Compliance Program: AECA Export Control, DoS DDTC Registration & Licensing, DoC BIS Export Licensing, ATF FFL, Tax Renewal, and Export/Import Licensing, plus Freight Forwarder and Customs Broker interaction.
  2. Maintain all export control documentation for registration, licensing, exemptions/exceptions, and assist Program Managers and General Managers to ensure licensing quantity, value, and time is not exceeded.
  3. Knowledge of shipping carriers, export and import terms and conditions.
  4. Work with and collaborate with Logistics and Tactical Air Logistics Network-Parts (TALON) personnel to assist in inventory management, inventory system record-keeping, and to conduct Order of Reviews.
  5. Engage across all Tactical Air business units/segments and subsidiaries, to conduct international trade compliance functions.
  6. Ensure compliance with federal and international trade compliance regulations.
  7. Conduct professional training to various groups of aircrews.
  8. Assist in maintaining, improving, and operationalizing the export compliance program.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree or High School diploma/GED with 6+ years of equivalent combination of training, education, and experience in Export Compliance and International Trade of Arms Regulations.
  2. Three+ years of experience as an Export Control Official.
  3. Proficient in the Arms Export Control Act, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and other applicable Federal export control regulations.
  4. Able to complete Export Licensing, FMS requirements, TPT requirements, and Exemptions.
  5. Experience monitoring and executing domestic transfers due to FMS and SME requirements including on-time submission of Blue Lantern Reports as required.
  6. High proficiency with MS Office Suite, and preferably with Smartsheet, DECCS, SNAP-R, BATF eForms, and other web portals.
  7. Valid state driver's license.
  8. U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain an active and current DoD SECRET security clearance.
Salary and Benefits

Our company offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $106,000 DOE, based on location and experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
