Flowserve Corporation is a world-leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow control systems. We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at our Bridgeville site.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Machinist to operate CNC and/or manual lathes and mills. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery, machining parts to close tolerances, and ensuring quality and safety requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC and/or manual lathes and mills to machine parts to close tolerances.
- Machine parts from raw material and/or castings in the most efficient manner while understanding safety and quality requirements.
- Operate/machine parts as required to meet drawing specifications.
- Cutting metal using CNC or Manual machines.
- Ability to work 2nd shift or 3rd shift.
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge of layout and set up of castings and raw material.
- Technical or vocational certifications in CNC or Manual Machining preferred.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- The knowledge and skill to utilize overhead cranes safely is a plus.
