Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our business intelligence team, you will be responsible for providing data-driven insights to support critical business initiatives and needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis: Understand and provide data to support business initiatives and needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our Sr. Analyst, Manager, and stakeholders to obtain requirements for projects, provide end-user support and training on reporting and use of the Business Objects Suite as needed.
  • Troubleshooting: Perform complex troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and solution development in a fast-paced environment.
  • Agile Ceremonies: Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
  • Data Engineering: Collaborate with the Data Engineering team and business stakeholders to ensure data is readily available to stakeholders and provide detailed requirements for any new data structures, updates or integration deemed necessary for enterprise reporting.
  • IT Support: Respond to and resolve IT/customer support tickets, ensuring timely responses and solutions to customer issues.
  • Process Improvement: Identify the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability.
  • Reporting: Provide accurate and timely monthly reporting for all divisions as assigned.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence or another analytical role.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and financial acumen skills.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with executive management.
  • Experience with building out new dashboards.
  • Experience with Power BI & SAP Business Objects.
  • Exposure to SQL Server or similar data management apps to pull data from enterprise database/data warehouse environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, business management, information technology, or related fields.
