This specialty contractor has been a trusted leader in the construction industry for over 30 years, offering a range of construction specialties including drywall, acoustical ceilings, metal framing, metal panels, plaster, and specialty walls and ceilings.

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with substantial experience in the construction industry, particularly in drywall and acoustic construction subcontracting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and company standards.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, collaborating with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly.
  • Coordinate and communicate project activities with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with construction standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record as a Project Manager.
  • Field experience preferred.
  • Drywall and acoustics experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Quick bid.
