This role involves working with the Utah Warriors Rugby team and other professional, collegiate, high school, and club/organization contracts to provide nutrition care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct specialized nutrition assessments and document findings.
- Develop and implement nutrition interventions, including quality nutrition education, based on customer needs and expectations.
- Monitor and evaluate individual patient nutrition outcomes related to nutrition diagnosis, goals, and interventions.
- Communicate nutrition expertise with healthcare providers and other stakeholders.
- Mentor staff and students, and participate in department continuous quality improvement projects.
- Bachelor's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Food handler's permit (as required by facility).
- 2,000 hours of experience and credentialed specialty certification, such as CSG, CSO, CSSD, CNSC, CSP, CSR, CDE, or CSOWM.
- 4,000 hours of work experience in the specialty area, or successful completion of an approved Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics program.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency.
- Certified Dietitian (State of Utah) or Licensed Dietitian (State of Idaho) obtained within two months of hire.
- Master's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a specialty area from an accredited institution.
- 2+ years of sports nutrition experience and the CSSD certification.
