Caregiver - Sag Harbor

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Home Instead in Sag Harbor. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to seniors in their homes.

• Assist seniors with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
• Monitor and administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of our clients
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean and safe environment
• Accompany seniors to appointments and engage in recreational activities
• Document and report any changes in their physical or mental condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and move clients as needed
