Maintenance Mechanic III/Electrician II Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic III/Electrician II to join our team at Flinchbaugh Manufacturing & Engineering. This individual will be responsible for performing mechanical, electrical, and electronic repair functions on all equipment, with a focus on complex assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain shop equipment, including heavy machinery and electrical systems
  • Diagnose and develop solutions for equipment repair, utilizing blueprints and technical documentation
  • Follow established routine maintenance policies and procedures
  • Assist in training and development of other team members
  • Read and interpret electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams and specifications

Requirements:

  • Strong skills and knowledge of plant equipment repair
  • Proven experience in reading and using blueprints and/or diagrams for electrical, plumbing, and/or hydraulic problems
  • Minimum one to three years experience in areas of equipment repair and maintenance
  • High School degree or equivalent and/or advanced certification in above areas

Working Conditions:

  • May require moderate lifting of items up to 60 pounds or heavier with assistance
  • May require standing for long periods of time up to 12 hours daily
  • Ability to climb 8 feet or higher
  • Ability to work under different temperatures and possibly climates
  • May need to operate on short deadlines and changing priorities

Salary: $25 - $31 / hr
