Job Title:

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at A-Line Staffing Solutions. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists with drug preparation and dispensing, ensuring accurate and efficient service to our patients.

Responsibilities:
• Assist pharmacists with filling prescriptions, packaging medications, and meeting productivity standards.
• Perform higher-level pharmacy technician responsibilities, such as inventory control, data entry, and IV preparation.
• Label products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels, and participate in periodic inventory of the pharmacy.
• Prepare medications, including emulsions, liquids, powders, and ointments, which may include non-sterile compounding.
• Communicate with internal and external customers in a pleasant and professional manner.
• May process returned medications from the facility for credit or destruction.
• Assist in the training of new employees.

Requirements:
• Verifiable High School Diploma
• Attendance mandatory for first 90 days
• National Certifications preferred
• Must be licensed in the state of RI for Pharmacy Tech
• 1 year of pharmacy tech experience – long-term care setting preferred

Benefits:
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance.
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
