ABA Therapist

The Kennedy Collective, Inc. is seeking skilled ABA therapists to deliver individualized treatment plans in a center-based setting.

About the Role

As an ABA therapist at The Kennedy Collective, you will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis therapy with individuals diagnosed with autism and related developmental disabilities.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy sessions as directed by the BCBA
• Implement individualized treatment plans in a center-based setting
• Collect and record accurate data on client behavior and progress during sessions
• Apply positive reinforcement and other behavior modification techniques to encourage desirable behaviors
• Assist in developing new programs and strategies to address challenging behaviors
• Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive environment for clients during sessions

Your Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a behavioral health field, behavior analysis, or related field
• 18 hours of continuing education in ASD services in the last three years
• Valid driver's license
• Compassion and patience for those you work with
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team using good judgment and a sense of initiative
• Knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office and the Internet

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Have the physical endurance to use PMT holds
• Have the physical endurance to be able to lift and transfer individuals as assigned

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
