The Kennedy Collective, Inc. is seeking skilled ABA therapists to deliver individualized treatment plans in a center-based setting.
About the Role
As an ABA therapist at The Kennedy Collective, you will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis therapy with individuals diagnosed with autism and related developmental disabilities.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy sessions as directed by the BCBA
- Implement individualized treatment plans in a center-based setting
- Collect and record accurate data on client behavior and progress during sessions
- Apply positive reinforcement and other behavior modification techniques to encourage desirable behaviors
- Assist in developing new programs and strategies to address challenging behaviors
- Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive environment for clients during sessions
Your Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a behavioral health field, behavior analysis, or related field
- 18 hours of continuing education in ASD services in the last three years
- Valid driver's license
- Compassion and patience for those you work with
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team using good judgment and a sense of initiative
- Knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office and the Internet
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Have the physical endurance to use PMT holds
- Have the physical endurance to be able to lift and transfer individuals as assigned
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
