TLC seeks a qualified professional to join our team as a Counselor in our Residential Treatment Facility and PHP program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement daily life activities that align with treatment plans created by therapists, promoting a supportive environment for clients.
  • Lead therapeutic groups focused on coping skills, relapse prevention, DBT education, and life skills, helping clients achieve their objectives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and share client progress with the treatment team to ensure cohesive care.
  • Ensure the treatment area remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, education, or a related field is mandatory.
  • Experience in behavioral health, particularly in an eating disorder setting or group home, is advantageous.
  • A valid North Carolina Driver's license with a clear driving record for three years is necessary.
Benefits and Compensation:
  • This full-time position (32 hours) includes a competitive compensation package, comprising health, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, and a retirement plan.
  • The schedule is TBD, with some evening and one weekend shift.
Annual Salary Range:

$38,400 - $41,600 per annum, based on the title, job description, and location.
