TheraCare of New York is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Northwest Indiana. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and be licensed to practice in the state of Indiana.

The Speech Language Pathologist will work with students in elementary and middle/high school settings, setting learning outcomes and evaluating and treating patients in accordance with established standards of practice and the Individualized Education Plan.

The successful candidate will have excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with established standards of practice and the Individualized Education Plan
  • Work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Speech/Language Pathology
  • Set learning outcomes for students to produce measurable growth in student achievement

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Current state license/certification
  • Valid Communication Disorders license from state of Indiana
  • Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
