Aftenro is a non-profit, long-term care facility located in a serene setting, offering a unique work environment for certified nursing assistants (CNAs). Our facility features private rooms and bathrooms, antique wood, and stained glass windows, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our residents.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CNA to join our team. As a CNA at Aftenro, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as transfers, showers, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Obtain vital signs and weights.
  • Deliver meal trays to residents dining in their rooms.
  • Transport residents to and from meals and activities.
  • Make regular rounds on assigned residents.
  • Answer call lights.
Requirements
  • Be at least 16 years old.
  • Pass a Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) background study.
  • Be available to work every other weekend rotation for.3 or greater.
  • Hold a current CNA certification or be enrolled in a CNA course.
  • Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
