Hospice CNA Job Overview

This PRN Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role allows for flexibility while directly impacting patients' lives by providing home-based care. If you're passionate about caregiving, join our team at Advantage Home Health and Hospice in the Altoona/State College, PA area.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Offer personalized care services including hygiene maintenance, physical support, and environmental upkeep.
  • Support patients with mobility needs through exercises and ambulation as per their care plans.
  • Continuously observe and document the patient's health status.
  • Implement range-of-motion and light exercise techniques under the guidance of a care plan, adhering to CNA standards.
  • Maintain strict adherence to our company's policies and procedures.
  • Document patient interactions accurately.

Salary Details

The estimated salary range for this role is $18-$20 per hour.

Benefits and Requirements

  • Must possess a current CNA license in Pennsylvania.
  • Experience in electronic medical record-keeping is vital.
  • A valid Pennsylvania driver's license along with state-mandated car insurance is necessary.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Previous Home Health experience is advantageous, though not a necessity.
