Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our Medical Surgical team.

The Med/Surg unit is a dynamic and comprehensive department that delivers care to both medical and surgical patients. Our unit frequently accommodates individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, as well as those undergoing various gynecological, urological, and abdominal procedures.

Medical patients present with a diverse range of conditions, including:
sepsis, urinary tract infections, pneumonia, wound management, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, congestive heart failure, and more.

The typical patient-to-technician ratio is approximately 1:7.



Key Responsibilities:

Your daily responsibilities will encompass obtaining vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), facilitating ambulation, managing admissions and discharges as patients transition through the unit, and collaborating with a supportive team of enthusiastic nursing professionals.

This position is part-time, with shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM. We offer a range of benefits, including:
