Job Summary

The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. This individual will work to operate the batch plant and place concrete safely and accurately to maintain efficient and quality production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the mixer control panel to ensure precise mixing of concrete ingredients.
  • Dump mix from the tub into the pour bucket, maintaining a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Place concrete in forms via overhead crane operation, requiring attention to detail and spatial awareness.
  • Operate a forklift/loader to transport materials and equipment as needed.
  • Properly weigh materials for mix, operate the mixer, and deliver mix in a timely manner, adhering to quality control standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to housekeeping and quality standards.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management, including temporary or permanent tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a related industry, preferably with overhead crane operation.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, including reading fractions and using a tape measure.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day.
  • Able to communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
