About the Role:
Lactalis North America is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our production facility in Nampa, ID. As the Assistant Plant Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring that production practices meet company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Plant Director in creating the annual budget and reporting on financial and production results.
- Provide leadership and direction to all production departments, ensuring that production practices meet company objectives.
- Manage the Production and Packaging departments, ensuring that product quality conforms to company and regulatory standards.
- Ensure continuous compliance with all regulatory, ISO 9001 & FSSC 2200 schemes, as well as any outside customer requirements.
- Work closely with the Quality and Food Safety Team to ensure the quality and specifications of products are continually being met.
- Participate in the plant's Capex program from initial idea stages until full implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science or a related field.
- 5-8 years of senior leadership experience in a food manufacturing setting.
- Microsoft Office proficiency, with a focus on Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Specialized knowledge of USDA, FDA, Grade A, ISO 9001 & ISO 2200 standards.
- Knowledge of budget creation and the Profit & Loss Center concept is highly desired.
