Facilities Care Technician

The DoubleTree by Hilton Burlington is seeking a skilled Facilities Care Technician to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our public areas, including banquets, function rooms, lobby, corridors, and stairwells.

Your duties will include cleaning rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors, dusting and polishing metalwork, and performing other related tasks as assigned by your supervisor. You will also be expected to provide exceptional service to our guests and colleagues, responding promptly to their needs and exceeding their expectations whenever possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of public areas, including banquets, function rooms, lobby, corridors, and stairwells.
  • Providing exceptional service to guests and colleagues at all times.
  • Performing tasks assigned by supervisors as needed.
  • Wearing required uniform and adhering to the hotel's dress code policy.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
