ROLE SUMMARY:
The Foodservice Territory Sales Manager (FSTSM) serves as the representative of Lyons, embodying our commitment to exceptional customer service for both retail and foodservice clients. This position is pivotal in managing foodservice sales and nurturing relationships with current and prospective clients within a designated territory.

- TERRITORY: Monroe, Louisiana
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a professional ambassador for Lyons, delivering friendly service through direct engagement and in-store support to cultivate profitable partnerships.
- Manage and develop a geographical sales territory, ensuring growth within the foodservice and deli sectors of each account.
- Implement foodservice sales strategies and profit goals aligned with departmental objectives to achieve and surpass profitability targets.
- Regularly engage with existing and potential clients to assess their foodservice needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to enhance weekly order volumes through product knowledge and innovative strategies.
- Effectively communicate product offerings, services, and promotional strategies to clients, ensuring they are well-informed and equipped to place orders efficiently.
- Work in conjunction with the accounting team to maintain current balances based on agreed credit terms.
- Participate in mandatory monthly sales meetings, both virtually and in-person.
- Promote and attend annual trade shows and marketing events organized by Lyons Specialty Co.
ABOUT YOU:
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years in foodservice, culinary, or restaurant-related roles, with a strong instinct for the food business.
- At least 3 years of successful experience in outside sales and customer service, preferably in distribution or retail settings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and sales software.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and strong work ethic, with effective follow-up methods and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Must reside within and be able to travel throughout the assigned territory.
