Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Reston Hospital Center. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for obtaining blood specimens from patients using various techniques and performing clerical and minor technical functions.
Key Responsibilities- Greets and directs outpatients to the appropriate department for testing
- Performs clerical functions such as filing, answering telephones, and ensuring smooth departmental operations
- Collects blood specimens from patients using various techniques
- Assists with laboratory testing and prepares specimens for analysis
- BLS certification required
- Phlebotomy skills and computer skills required
- Science courses preferred
