Job Title: Payroll Manager

KSB SE and Co KGaA is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of payroll processing and employee benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the full payroll process for all KSB SE and Co KGaA locations across the North American region, ensuring timely and accurate payroll delivery
  • Manage payroll and timekeeping databases, ensuring system functionality and making improvements as needed
  • Collaborate with the IT Department to resolve payroll or timekeeping database discrepancies and oversee data integrity
  • Work closely with the Human Resource team to ensure accuracy in time and attendance records and associated payroll records
  • Complete external and internal audits to provide historical compliance records for company payroll and benefit programs
  • Prepare and submit all required annual governmental reports, including EEO-1 reports, ACA reports, SUI reports, and Form 5500
  • Administer the 401k plan, including monitoring and approving profit sharing distributions, hardship loans, and withdrawals
  • Manage all aspects of the KSB SE and Co KGaA pension plan for current employees and retirees
  • Process, maintain, and submit all wage garnishments, bankruptcies, levies, and child support withhold orders
  • Collaborate with the Finance Department to ensure accuracy of the General Ledger and proper entries on payroll accounts and tax deposits
  • Administer and manage the voluntary and company-sponsored group health, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment, group life/accident/cancer/chronic illness/hospital indemnity, HSA/FSA, and various other benefits for employees
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years experience in payroll and benefits management
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll practices, regulations, and procedures
  • HRIS experience required (ADP, UKG, or other relevant HRIS systems)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask multiple tasks/projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
