Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Mercy. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to moderate to high-risk patients in the labor and delivery population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care of laboring and c-section patients, as well as OB Triage and antepartum patients.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient needs and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
  • Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
