Job Title: Aircraft Inspector

North State Aviation Holdings LLC is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Inspector to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Aircraft Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections and related functions to ensure the airworthiness of aircraft, engines, components, and accessories. This includes receiving inspection of all components, materials, tooling, and hardware, as well as conducting RII inspections and reviewing paperwork to ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections and related functions to ensure airworthiness of aircraft, engines, components, and accessories
  • Receive inspection of all components, materials, tooling, and hardware
  • Conduct RII inspections and review paperwork to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Inspect and determine airworthiness of incoming material, including new parts, supplies, and articles
  • Conduct preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspection of all articles processed by North State Aviation
  • Ensure adherence to RII inspection items and procedures
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
  • A&P certification
  • 2+ years' documented/verifiable maintenance experience on Boeing transport category aircraft
  • Prefer experience in installation and rigging of flight controls, sheet metal repairs, and avionics
  • Must meet FAR: 145.155 requirements
Working Conditions:

Combination of inside and outside with changing climate conditions

Moderate to high noise level

Low to moderate risk for exposure to hazardous chemicals, vapors, or materials

Work in confined spaces, work at varied heights
