Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Inspector to join our team at North State Aviation Holdings LLC. As an Aircraft Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft, engines, components, and accessories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections and related functions as directed by job cards, maintenance manuals, A.D.'s, and other documents included or specified in the work package.
  • Conduct receiving inspection of all components, materials, tooling, and hardware as required by this manual and applicable FAR's.
  • Conduct RII inspections (if qualified) in accordance with approved procedures and maintenance program requirements.
  • Review paperwork, including but not limited to, maintenance forms, parts tags, job cards, log pages, and tally sheets to ensure compliance with this Repair Station Manual and all applicable FAR's.
  • Inspect, determine the airworthiness of, and approve the final acceptance of all incoming material, including new parts, supplies, and articles on which work has been performed by contracted vendors of North State Aviation.
  • Conduct the preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspection of all articles processed by North State Aviation and record results as outlined in the Repair Station & Quality Control Manuals.
  • Ensure adherence to all RII inspection items and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities of an aircraft maintenance mechanic when not performing the duties of an Inspector. NOTE: An Inspector may not buy back or inspect his or her own work.
  • Read, understand, and apply the requirements, guidelines, and regulations of the Repair Station & Quality Control Manuals that apply to the duties and responsibilities of an Inspector.
  • Read, understand, and comply with the applicable regulations in the Repair Station & Quality Control Manuals and with the inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to determine the airworthiness of the article on which maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations are being performed.
  • Utilize proficiently the various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids appropriate for the article being inspected.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • A&P certification
  • 737 GenFam
  • Two or more years' documented/verifiable maintenance experience on Boeing transport category aircraft
  • Prefer experience in the installation and rigging of flight controls, in conducting sheet metal repairs, and in avionics.
  • Must meet the requirements of FAR: 145.155
