Overnight Metal Finishing Technician

We are seeking a proficient Manufacturing Process Technician to enhance our operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with the safe management of manufacturing processes including electroplating, polishing, and induction hardening, while ensuring adherence to production quality and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Configure, operate, and monitor manufacturing machinery to fulfill product quality and productivity goals.
- Execute work orders in the designated order.
- Document productivity metrics and communicate any issues.
- Engage in Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance programs.
- Interpret and comply with blueprints or job specifications.
- Detect and label nonconforming components.
Qualifications:
- Capability to comprehend and execute instructions.
- Familiarity with raw materials, production methods, and quality assurance.
- Basic understanding of shop mathematics.
- Knowledge of chemicals utilized in the manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret dimensional tolerances and chrome thickness measurements.
- Assess components for compliance with specifications.
- Mechanical skills.
