Position: Cell Operator
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Compensation starts at $18 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

The Cell Operator will be responsible for operating various machine tools, specialized equipment, or industrial robots to manufacture and assemble product components according to specified production standards.

  • Operate one or more machine tools, specialized equipment, or industrial robots to process metal workpieces to precise specifications.
  • Interpret blueprints or job orders to understand product specifications, including dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions.
  • Select, position, and secure tools in the appropriate holders.
  • Identify and segregate nonconforming parts, ensuring quality control.
  • Apply rust preventative to parts as necessary.
  • Achieve production rates that meet or exceed established standards.
  • Conduct accurate first-part inspections and other required quality checks using measuring instruments.
  • Report any discrepancies to the lead or supervisor promptly.
  • Perform secondary operations and inspections, such as deburring and cleaning, as time allows.
  • Count and package finished parts in a clean and organized manner.
  • Document required data in the computer system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper lubrication of machines and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Exhibit good attendance and punctuality as a fundamental responsibility.
  • Contribute positively to the workgroup and adhere to all company policies, including safety protocols and maintaining an organized workspace.
