We are seeking a skilled Radiopharmaceutical Specialist to join our team at OptumCare. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the field of nuclear medicine and contribute to the development of innovative health care solutions.
As a Radiopharmaceutical Specialist, you will be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals and standard adjunctive medications as authorized, and assisting authorized users in receipt and administration of therapeutic radionuclides.
In this role, you will also maintain the cleanliness of the nuclear camera and associated equipment in accordance with infection control policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent experience, completion of a course in Nuclear Medicine Technology approved by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and current NMTCB and/or ARRT licensure.
