The ideal candidate for the Water Infrastructure Team Leader role should possess the following competencies:
Team Leadership:
Ability to assemble, nurture, mentor, and lead a highly motivated team.
Project Management:
Expertise in preparing scope-of-services and effort estimates for contract proposals; leading and managing teams to ensure successful execution of contracted work, budget adherence, and schedule compliance.
Senior Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Design Engineer:
Proficiency in executing planning, design, bidding, and construction administration phases of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Business Development:
Capability to develop, capture, and sustain workload for the team across Missouri, fostering positive relationships with clients.
Client Service Management:
Skill in developing and maintaining a robust network of clients throughout Missouri.
This role allows for leveraging Garver's established, nationally respected Water Services Team and concentrated industry experts to support business development efforts.
With mentorship and development from experienced leadership and peers, this Infrastructure Team Leader will have a direct impact on building Garver's legacy of delivering exceptional engineering services to water and wastewater clients in Missouri.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Missouri.
- 8 or more years of relevant experience in the water/wastewater utilities sector, focusing on linear assets, storage, and pumping for water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
- 5 or more years of project management experience.
- Familiarity with presentation software such as MS PowerPoint or Keynote.
- Strong communication skills and public speaking abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- 5 or more years of experience supporting municipalities in Missouri.
- Experience with state or national conference technical presentations on water distribution and wastewater collection topics.
- Established client relationships with multiple Missouri municipal water and wastewater utilities.
