Radiologic Imaging Specialist

OrthoCincy seeks a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to operate radiological and fluoroscopic equipment, ensuring the highest quality images for patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares patients for radiologic procedures, prioritizing their comfort and safety.
Protects patients, self, and staff from radiation hazards, adhering to strict safety protocols.
Reads patient charts and communicates physician orders to other staff members, maintaining accurate records.
Maintains radiographic files and supplies, ordering as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
Operates and maintains all imaging department equipment, performing minor adjustments and repairs as needed.
Requirements:
Certified as a medical radiologic technologist, as required by the state.
Associates degree in Radiological Technology from an accredited program.
CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred.
Performance Expectations:
Demonstrates knowledge of radiology procedures, protocols, and safety guidelines.
Applies written instructions and standardized work practices to ensure consistency and quality.
Evaluates images and makes technical adjustments as needed, maintaining high standards of patient care.
Working Conditions:
Schedules may change to meet department needs, including overtime and weekends.
Travel may be required as needed.
