Position Overview:
Deliver an exceptional customer experience to all clients at the branch, assisting them with their account management and transactional requirements. Actively promote and cross-sell banking products and services while providing support to fellow team members in various tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities to promote bank products and services, effectively cross-selling to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Ensure a remarkable customer experience for all branch clients.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency, striving for resolution at the branch level.
  • Perform essential transactions to fulfill customer needs, including account servicing and all teller functions:
  1. Processing client transactions
  2. Managing debit card requests and services
  3. Setting up and servicing online banking (as applicable)
  4. Handling printed check orders
  5. Coordinating branch cash orders and shipments (as applicable)
  6. Managing branch certifications (as assigned)
  7. Processing stop payments
  8. Managing holds
  9. Handling Reg. E claims
  10. Opening, closing, and servicing safe deposit boxes (as assigned)
  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of compliance regulations to support account servicing, ensuring risk mitigation for the bank:

  4. Office of Foreign Asset Control
  5. Trust Account documentation
  6. Fiduciary Account documentation
  • Participate in ongoing training and achieve satisfactory ratings on all regulatory compliance audits.
  • Adhere to reporting and recordkeeping requirements as mandated by the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering laws, OFAC, and CIP regulations.
  • Follow all policies and procedures related to regulatory compliance laws and regulations.
  • Independently manage complex or non-routine operational issues, recognizing when to seek management support.
  • Ensure the branch operates safely and effectively.
  • Maintain reliable and regular attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational capabilities.

  • Ability to accurately count cash.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Preferred: Six months of branch banking experience.
  • Required: Minimum six months of cash handling experience.

Work Environment:
Standard office environment with moderate noise levels.
