Position Summary
The Senior Investment Consultant (SIC) role for the Southern California region focuses on implementing a targeted sales strategy aimed at a specific group of financial advisors. The SIC will be tasked with promoting Thornburg's mutual funds and SMA offerings primarily to advisors affiliated with wire houses, independent or regional broker-dealers, and RIA channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance sales and strengthen relationships with financial advisors in the designated region. Collaborate closely with the inside sales partner to develop and execute a comprehensive business plan aimed at achieving annual sales objectives.
- This role will receive support from an Advisor Solutions Consultant, with the inside sales team based in a different location.

The ideal candidate must reside within the Southern California region.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in wholesaling mutual fund products within the financial services sector, particularly in the specified region.
- Established relationships with advisors and targeted firms in the area are highly desirable.
- Exemplary ethical standards and integrity.
- A strong work ethic and a robust desire to achieve success.
- Willingness to travel extensively due to the size of the region.
- Professional qualifications include:
- NASD licenses Series 7, 63, and 65
- A Bachelor's degree is mandatory
- CIMA and/or CFP designation is preferred
