Job Title: Quality Lab Technician III

Kagome USA is seeking a highly skilled Quality Lab Technician III to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our production lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and document quality variables of production lines through visual inspection, on-line measurements, and analytical testing.
  • Identify process variation and out-of-specification conditions, and advise appropriate personnel and document corrective/preventive actions in a timely manner.
  • Accurately follow written policies and procedures for conducting product testing.
  • Support compliance of all Food Safety and Quality Management System programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in special projects as directed by Quality Lab Manager, Quality Systems Manager, and/or Director of Quality Systems.
  • Maintain retained finished product samples inventory.
  • Verify, monitor, and document cooler and freezer temperatures.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring swabbing for line start-up.
Requirements:
  • Minimum high school diploma.
  • Up to 1 year of food processing quality control lab experience.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and convey technical applications to others.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to perform required tests.
  • Computer knowledge in order to input data and verification accuracy using MS Excel.
Work Environment:

Exposed to some chemical fumes, flammable liquids, extreme hot/cold, and humid temperatures. First and/or second shift work is required.
