Department Head

At SiteOne Landscape Supply, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Department Manager to join our team. As a key member of our branch, you will be responsible for leading our Hardscapes department and working closely with customers to ensure excellence.

• Assist the Branch Manager in sales and operations planning, statistical demand forecasting, and integration of supply and demand plans.
• Promote a safe working environment by emphasizing safety daily through leading by example.
• Encourage a strong safety culture through workplace organization, training, and executing policies.
• Understand and execute the principles of inventory management, target customer mix, and sales.
• Create a positive environment for employees that encourages teamwork and aligns with SiteOne's DNA.
• Train and develop agronomic staff to be knowledgeable of the Hardscape product line and customer needs to support achievement of departmental sales goals.
• Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to positively impact business performance.
• Support other branch departments and customers as needed.

• 1-3 years of experience in the green industry and an understanding of hardscape products, preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency - candidates who are conversational in English/Spanish are preferred.
• Excellent customer service and management skills.
• Experience with sales and operations planning and forecasting.
• Understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits, credits, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and budgets.
• Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
