Department Head

SiteOne Landscape Supply is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Department Manager to join our team. As a key member of our branch leadership, you will be responsible for leading the Hardscapes department and working closely with customers to ensure exceptional service and sales.

• Assist the Branch Manager in sales and operations planning, statistical demand forecasting, and integration of supply and demand plans.
• Promote a safe and incident-free work environment by emphasizing safety daily and leading by example.
• Develop and execute policies to encourage a strong safety culture, including workplace organization, training, and execution.
• Understand and execute the principles of inventory management, target customer mix, and sales.
• Create a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
• Train and develop agronomic staff to be knowledgeable of the Hardscape product line and customer needs to support achievement of departmental sales goals.
• Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to improve business performance.
• Support other branch departments and customers as needed.

• 1-3 years of experience in the green industry and an understanding of hardscape products.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Excellent customer service and management skills.
• Experience with sales and operations planning and forecasting.
• Understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits, credits, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and budgets.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
