Position Overview:

1. Investment and syndication of renewable energy tax credits
2. Private credit investment platform aimed at supporting small enterprises

Role Summary:
The Sustainable Energy Investment Analyst will primarily support the renewable energy tax credit investment platform through intricate financial modeling, project evaluation, and comprehensive transactional involvement.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and assess financial models for large-scale renewable energy projects, ensuring the accuracy of revenue structures and expense evaluations.
2. Collaborate with investment bankers and brokers to facilitate new deal sourcing and initial assessments.
3. Prepare investor presentation materials and benefit analyses for newly sourced deals.
4. Maintain the investment opportunity pipeline and manage the internal investment committee deal tracker.
5. Actively participate in investment committee discussions and assist in ranking opportunities for investors.
6. Conduct research on renewable energy programs across various US territories and compile detailed reports.
7. Create and present materials for investors, capital providers, borrowers, and joint venture partners.
8. Support the asset management team in coordinating with third parties to deliver periodic reports, financial statements, and tax documents to meet capital provider obligations.
9. Analyze market risk factors and pricing strategies.
10. Contribute to initiatives aimed at achieving the firm's strategic goals.
11. Travel for business engagements and attend relevant conferences as needed.
12. Conduct ad hoc research and respond to investor inquiries and other critical operational tasks.

Qualifications:
1. Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel modeling, including complex functions and the ability to present organized information effectively.
2. Solid understanding of financial, tax, accounting, and investment principles related to tax credit transactions.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create and deliver impactful presentations.
4. Strong self-management skills, providing exceptional client service with urgency, practicality, accountability, and integrity.
5. Capability to assess complex situations and make independent decisions on significant matters.
6. Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and self-motivation.

Additional Considerations:
Experience in renewable energy infrastructure and project finance is advantageous.

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field is required. An advanced degree and/or CFA or CPA certification is a plus. Previous experience in renewable energy, accounting, or finance is highly preferred.
