About the Role

NISA Investment Advisors, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our Portfolio Management team as a Portfolio Management Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will assist in constructing and supporting portfolios for some of the largest institutional investors in the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of investment strategies for institutional clients
  • Conduct research and analysis on financial markets, asset classes, and investment products
  • Collaborate with the Portfolio Management team to construct and maintain portfolios
  • Provide support for the overall portfolio management process, including trade valuation and execution
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of financial markets, portfolio management, and trading
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a strong analytical and quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Financial Engineering
  • Strong academic background and high degree of aptitude in quantitative and analytical thinking
  • Familiarity with techniques and technologies related to quantitative/statistical analysis (Python, R, C/C++/C#, Java), data management (SQL), and Excel
  • Experience with statistical and/or mathematical modeling
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically about financial markets and investments
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment
  • Drive to perform at a high level under pressure and time constraints
