We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, implement and monitor patient care plans, and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessing and monitoring patient condition, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and communicating with the healthcare team.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care, including serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, including assessing and coordinating patient's discharge planning needs.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, including noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or professional licensure at time of hire required.
