Job Summary:
Fairfield Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
* Patrol all areas of the FMC main campus and off-site locations to prevent and detect crime
* Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed
* Conduct preliminary investigations of crimes, accidents, and suspicious incidents
* Make arrests and take individuals into custody as necessary
* Maintain and drive motor vehicles
* Complete reports and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
* High school graduate or equivalent
* Associate's degree in Police Science or Criminal Justice preferred
* Successful completion of the State of Ohio required police training program and State Certification examination
* One year of police experience preferred
* Valid State of Ohio Driver's License
Work Environment:
* Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to stress and emergency situations
* May be required to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
