Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team and contribute to our growth and success. As a Data Scientist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights and solutions that enhance our products and accelerate growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a strategic thought partner with stakeholders from product, business, and marketing to define high-impact analytical problems and solve them using different analytical and statistical approaches with data.
  • Proactively perform data exploration and analytical deep dives to identify growth opportunities in user acquisition, retention, and conversion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and measure success metrics for new features and products, conduct hypothesis testing (A/B testing, multivariate experiments, quasi-experimental design, and causal inference) to optimize product features and user experiences, and provide data-driven recommendations for product improvements and innovations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and present findings and actionable insights in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Foster a data-driven culture within the organization by advocating for best practices in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders from product, design, consumer research, engineering, business, etc.
Requirements
  • BS, MS, or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research).
  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience in analytics with a strong product sense.
  • Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced in SQL, fluent in Python, and familiar with data pipeline and Git.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive your own projects.
  • Ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.

At Taskrabbit, we offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $115,000 - $160,000, plus bonus, benefits, and perks.
